The letter 'H' should be pronounced as aiche, not haiche. The trouble is, a lot of people (both north and south and all inbetween) drop their H's for so many words (eg. "I live in an 'ouse"), they just presume that if anybody says 'aiche' that they too are dropping the 'h'. So it really boils down to ignorance and poor education. It gets passed down from parent to child that 'haiche' is correct - but it isn't.

Breaking it down as already posted Ay, Bee, Cee, Dee, Eee, Eff, Gee, Hay'ch.
Anything less is lazy.
The queens English will pronounce Hay'chi.

He even failed to spell Hippopotamus :D

No, anything less (as long as you are removing the erroneous h) will be correct :)

Wrong. Also, where has your additional i come from, and why?
