what i found was that if i put my phone in my pocket screen facing inwards (even in a leather pouch) then my battery will be lucky to last 5 hours or so. Put the phone screen facing outwards in my pocket and i can easily get 2 days or more...Has anyone else experienced any issues with battery drain? And I mean severe drain.
Most of the time my phone's battery is great, usually lasting up to 48 hours with light/medium use, but on occasion it seems to 'purge'. It happened last night and has done it about 3 times in the past fortnight. Take last night as an example. I unplugged my phone from the charger at about 10pm on about 90%. By the morning it was totally dead (0%). I heard it shutdown during the night - not sure of the exact time but must've been about 6am. No programs running and usual settings (weather every 3 hours, email every hour).
Anyone have any ideas why it's doing this? Considering I use my phone as my alarm and it doesn't sound when the phone's off this is extremely annoying!
Moral of the story is the phone has a SERIOUS design flaw whereby the buttons stick out rather than set inwards like that on the iphone and so when its in your pocket your forever catching the buttons which turns the screen on waiting for you to unlock and that drains the battery
