Couldn't understand why the memory was making such a diff at soem of those games/resolutions - until I looked on the article to see it is clocked at 900MHz, which is quite a bit higher than the 725 of the 2GB version.
Just noticed that myself. A big LOL at those benches above in that case. The gain is entirely from the overclock - the extra ram is doing, as has been pointed out, naff all. You'd have to have significantly more money than sense to buy one of those. Makes 480 buyers seem positively frugal
