the first few posts made sense to me as i use google chrome, and thats the only place i was getting a new results page, not on opera or IE8! I thought he meant that it was an issue with chrome and that it needed to be reinstalled to fix it. and when he said reinstall the homepage, i was just like wtf?? but i wanted to find out what was going on and fix it, so i asked what to do!

I'm not stupid, just have more trust than i apparently should in my fellow man

Make sure you defraggle the motherdisk before you install google.

Have you updated your internet drivers to 12.76?

I get less ping with the 12.75's, but these seem more stable.
