Try out the saiga + extra ammo. 12 shot saiga kicks arse at short range, so on some maps it's a very nasty combo.

I pretty much use the lightweight perk for every loadout, TBH. Also if you are playing as assault with C4, you don't need extra C4, you have a whole box of the stuff. :D

Watched the tracer video and have now realised what it is all about. WIll refrain from gustaving the helpless little men for a while :p

I presume it works for the gustav?

Yup.

We had a lot of fun the other day tracering random enemies... They run behind cover only to be obliterated by three simultaneous gustavs shortly afterwards :p

Not really very effective, but hillarious.
 
anyone give a hand starting our server going on after 3pm today . any help would be apreciated thanks :cool:

So who reckons the grenade launcher, gustav and M60 will ever actually be nerfed? Or does anyone think they don't need nerfing?

Just rage quit a game due to dying within 5 seconds of spawning 6 times in a row, twice from gustav, 4 times from gren launcher D:
 
Great game.... but its console origins are a little annoying... i.e, matchmaking.

I'm talking about the fact that the higher level you are the more points you can earn because you are more survivable, have better guns, and can help your team out with the unlocks. I assume this isn't an issue with the consoles as i guess they use a matchmaking system to put people of similar levels together. but on pc you just jump into servers and get a mix mash of all sorts of levels. And in this situation this leveling system is infuriating :mad:. Choosing a medic when you first start out.... you cant heal anyone, you cant revive anyone, and you get given a gun that would be more effective if you took the bullets out and threw them at the enemy. How the hell are you mean to unlock stuff when you cant actually do anything other than storm in and hope for some lucky knife kills!?

Anyone else who has just started playing noticed this slight inequality on the PC?

Me, i started playing yesterday, i mainly (read: always) play as engineer. At first i had a pea shooter and not much else, now i have a rocket launcher of death, but still a pea shooter. Hopefully soon i'll get to replace the pea shooter D:
 
Just stick with it, i only started at the weekend and am lvl 15 already with recon fully unlocked and half way through assault.

I found that the starter guns for recon and assault are not bad, certainly the recon m24 is a cracking starter weapon.
