I'm sorry what? Maybe you need to read a stop and search form before you jump to conclusions, they tick the boxes under reasons why they stopped and searched you. Suspicions.

You actually think, if they thought I was there to rob the place and then they searched my car and found tools that they would let me go?

lol sense of humour failure

he was implying you and your mates were the tools :D

fail :D

no wonder the cops give you attitude

you've only yourself to blame when you form those sorts of oppinions about them before they even knock on your window.

Actually before my run ins with the Police I was naive to think that the respect = respect thing actually works.

The next time I'm pulled I'm not going to be rude, but I'm certainly not going to incriminate myself by answering any unnecessary questions either.

I know that there are loads of great cops out their doing the beat, but my run-ins with the bad ones are enough to make me develop this sort of attitude :).

sometimes you forget what country we all live in.
Nope I don't, more people smoke weed in the UK than here.
Annual marijuana usage (pp ofc) is near double of what it is here and overall 7% more people have tried it once in their life...

More people like smoking weed and have smoked a joint in the UK than here so your point is invalid... Your ''culture'' likes weed more than here, only here ( and other European countries like Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, and more ) we aren't as stupid to punish people for it (ps. I absolutely hate laws restricting personal freedom).
Its illegal here so yes id say it was shameful to be breaking the law.

No it's not. It's not shameful if you disagree and ignore some laws. Like speeding...

I agree. The fact a law is a law doesn't make breaking it shameful. However, unquestionably, there have been and are some very shameful laws.

Yeah but criminalization of cannabis? I doubt it, cannabis usage is far higher in most western European country's where it is illegal ( UK and France, the 2 biggest examples, but also Denmark), than the countries where is is decriminalized ( NL, BE, CZ and DE ( Germany)).

Making something illegal has the opposite effect with these types of things and is stupid.

Surely if the person who owns the car doesn't mind then your arguement is pretty much void.

I get the impression a lot of people here are a little bit to turned on by sticking to rules and old fashioned ideals..

True, however I would not be friends with anyone who was not bothered.

I think you're misinterpreting my viewpoint :p

I was trying to say that just because something happens to be a law, doesn't make it right or morally correct, and that in the past we've had many laws that today would seem terrible.

Why not, just because one of your mates doesn't mind ( isn't careful about his car (eg. just sees it as an A to B machine and doesn't care what happens to it so long as it works) or has a cheap car) if you have sex or have a joint in his car you will just tell him **** you, you are not my friend any more, I don't want anything to do with your kind . I can completely understand why you wouldn't want smoking in the car, I don't allow it either ( just because I don't want my car to smell, I have nothing against tobacco and marijuana), but if one of my mates would allow it, that somehow makes him some kind of low life chav I should avoid  ?

Exactly, I have morals.

I cannot understand how anyone can think "Oh yeah I will let my friend use my car as a free den of iniquity"

If I were staying at a friends house with a GF, I would not dream of doing the business there out of respect.

Morals? Don't take this badly but something like that strikes me as ''backwards thinking that doesn't belong in 2010'', there is absolutely nothing wrong with smoking a joint or having sex if the owner thinks it's fine ?

Why can't you understand that your friends allow you to have fun in their places ? I'd easily let my mates have sex or smoke joint in my car if it wasn't of any monetary ( eg. a banger which will fail next MOT with repair costs larger than the price of the same car with a new MOT and be scrapped) or sentimental value ( eg. your first car, regardless how rubbish it may be compared to most cars, or your family's car you inherited, or whatever), and easily if I had my own apparent in town, as long as they don't disturb me ''my home is theirs''.
If I were staying at a friends house with a GF, I would not dream of doing the business there out of respect.
Even if your friend wouldn't mind and thinks you should get laid as much as possible ?

So you are saying that you should not have morals in 2010?

Why can't you understand that your friends allow you to have fun in their places ?

They may think it is OK, doesn't mean I do.

Even if your friend wouldn't mind and thinks you should get laid as much as possible ?

Even if that were true, I would still not.

lol, yeah....

If my friend was looking for a place to have intimate relations, I would hand them the keys to my car without a second thought. I wouldnt want them doing it in a forest or something with wild animals looking.

You are very strange

Well that says more about you than I ever could, well done.

I'd tell him to get a hotel booked if his mummy won't let him bring girls back.

See that's the thing. I have loads of muslim friends our parents would kick us out forever if we bought a girl home. And hotels aren't really affordable, unless it's premeditated and you've saved up some cash.
