Hiya there OcUK forums, another question from me im afraid.

I have a Acer AX330, which is the compaq desktop computer and is very very fast, but it has a nVidia GeForce G210 512mb graphics card, but my CCleaner registers it at a nVidia GeForce 9200. There are a lot of different versions of this, but i havnt actually had time to look deep into my system and get all its info, but i was wondering is if they are any "Better" graphics card i can buy for it, or would i be better off selling my computer and then buying a new gaming tower?

Remove the competitor link before you get in trouble from one of the Mods.

The rest of the PC doesn't look too bad, I'd probably upgrade the PSU and the graphics card, what's your budget?

edit: just noticed, the case, you might have to replace that as well if you want a decent graphics card upgrade, looks like a slimline one so you wont fit most mid-high end cards in there.

A, cheers for the heads up, forgot this is a retailers forum :)

anyhow, my uncle also considered the same, but i thought that one of these might be small enough to fit inside it?

As th one thats inside it now is in sideways and this look very similar in side just looking at it but i cant tell as im no expert so i might get my uncle to look at it if and when he has spare time and would be available with work and stuff at this moment, again cheers.

nVidia are well known for rebranding their cards.

The 5450 will it inside, but what are your demands from the card?

The 5450 will be slightly more powerful, but not a lot. The 5570 would be quite a bit better (but check the power requirements if you go for the 5570 as I'm not sure what your current PSU could handle).

are these the ATI HD5450 and HD5570? and i was hoping that they would give a lot better graphics for my call of duty 4 because i dont get anything about 130fps. However again its my PSU i dont know what wattage it is so i will try and hunt for it tonight when im next at my sysytem because at the mo' im at my dads :)

1) Yes all 5xxx cards are ATI.
2) 130?! What's wrong with 60fps? (Although depending on your resolution I'm not sure what those cards would give you, the 5450 is considered a low end DX11 card, the 5570 is probably low-mid).

lol ok, do you think this might fit into my tower?

looks similar size to the others but idk.

Don't try to judge size via pictures - it doesn't work, I've tried it before. I suggest you try to get an XFX 4770 since 4850's are hard to come by nowadays.

Please note that the GTS 250 and ATI 4770 have increased power demands vs the 5450.

EDIT: I suggest waiting becuase ATI & Nvidia have no good products in the low-mid market ATM.

Wil this fit into my slimline tower? if so then i might try and find one, and will i see sort of better graphics from this compared with my standard nvidia g210?
