...due to the volcanic ash, probably until Monday at the earliest. Any bright sparks have any reasonable and practical ways to get home. I am in Helsinki for what its worth...
 
Take a Helsinki-Rostock ferry and then a train or rent a car?

The Superfast vessels are undergoing repair and service work and therefore are not in the operations until end-April 2010.
New information will be published in due course.

Weak.

Could get to Stockholm instead, but it's still bloody far.

Look at a map buddy, there's some sea in the way.

Regarding the ferries, you could go Helsinki - Gdynia, and then on to Rostock but by time you get there the clouds will have lifted :p

:D Oops forgot about that bit...

Well ferry across to Stockholm, Sweden and then train then Ferry like I said. :p
 
You're in Finland. Presumably on holiday. You've got the oppertunity to stay another few days and enjoy everything Finland has to offer, and you choose to spend your time on OcUK?

That's what I call dedication. Give this man donship! :p
