Probably the same reason why I stay out of here most of the time now. Tute you need to get out while you can as well!!!
 
Loadsamoney was a good contributor on here and knew a lot of stuff regarding video cards,his info was very helpful to me.
At times the graphics section on here is like school ground banter and makes me wonder why i even bother looking at the threads sometimes.

I was once a moderator for a wii modding site and that closed down because of trolls and people going off topic all the time. On the last week of its life the mods and admins played practical jokes on all of the trolls :P
 
Still plenty of advice to be had and knowledge to be shared :) just need to be a bit more firm on the old trolls :)

Loosing Loadsa would be a big loss though, great contributor.

A lot of the trolls on here are clever, they do enough to ruin threads but stop short of actually breaking the rules, so that the mods cannot do anything about it.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Shame really as it was once a great resource with some knowledgeable members. Just odd that its the ATI boys that have screwed this place up... most other places are dragged down by NVIDIA idiots.

Actually it's the nVidia lot that ruin this place the most. That's not to say they're all bad - there are some very good pro-nVidia posters on here.

But there's been an influx of new "talent" recently, all of whom jump right down your throat as soon as you try and suggest that Fermi was anything less than a success.

I think Loadsa would agree with me on that point as well. :)
 
I think its just the ATI fan boys ruining this place by making insults for every nvidia / fermi card I think its stupid because they gain nothing and it just makes the place worst.

Not really, sure theres some pro-nVidia people who are a bit deluded and/or trolling, but its the people who were constantly making personal attacks that dragged things down (that and the ridiculous playground level insulting of everything nVidia/Fermi as mentioned above).

There are certainly some members also who simply do nothing but attempt to justify their current purchase.

Don't confuse them for pro-ATI or pro-nVidia, because they're neither. They're something..... much WORSE! *makes growling noises and rattles chains*
 
I'm going to go out on a limb and say I don't think loadsamoney would have been put off by the recent influx of knobs. He had mad noob bashing skills.
