New T-Shirt

My latest :)

The store I was in is tiny, size of my kitchen and only 1 girl worked in there.

Most important.. was the girl pretty? :D;)

The t-shirts they sell in HK can be 'funky' or 'offensive'.

I remember when my friend bought a t-shirt from Trendy Zone in **** Kok (shops in there are tiny) that said "Just Eat It" with a banana made to look like a Nike Swoosh.

He thought it was cool and reminded him of Weird Al's 'Eat It' until we told him that the message on the t-shirt meant to 'eat bananas' which is Cantonese slang for something rude :D.

She was insanely cute, i am contemplating writing to her lol

Anyway, half the Tee were funky, the other half are quite offensive, some a bit TOO offensive to wearing in public i think. Some are joking kind, like a chinese phase, it means 2 different things depending if you read it from left to right or right to left. As Chinese Newspapers are read from right to left, and one of the ways it basically says you are as stupid as a pig, if you read it right it means something normal. I would get it, if only people would get that joke here :p

Mine was an honest question, and I'm sure there's an answer. No need to immediately go on the defensive.

Saying "it's personal choice" implies that there are no reasons whatsoever, and we've just become accustomed to putting pointless crap on our clothes.

The "super specialist tyres" tee above is a great example. Seriously, why?

Maybe because it is of a particular brand, and particular colours that seem to be common with that brand - and if you cannot see that - what exactly can you see?

And if you insist everyone must write a description as to why they bought theirs, here's mine (the fred perry polo on page 1):

1, it's Fred Perry, a very iconic British sportsman.
2, it's special edition, and fairly expensive, so I'm not going to see anybody else wearing that tee when I'm out and about.
3, It's a very good quality t-shirt, and very good quality thickness.
4, It fits, as in, it is pulled in around the hips. The overall length of it, the arms and the buttons are not as common as most polo t's
5, The colour is good.
6, to add it to the list of other Fred Perry t-shirts, shoes, hooded tops I own.

This is an interesting thread.

Why do people wear T-shirts like these? To make a statement? To tell onlookers that you have so much disposable income you can afford to buy really, really sh** clothes and just not care? :D

Looking at them, at least half of them are what I'd call "horrible". Others are tacky. Some are plain retarded.

I hate to be harsh (no I don't), but you guys... please explain this to me.

Ok so what tshirts do you wear..?

Self expression, style...? Kinda hard not to understand that o.O For example, the boring linear person will have a dull short hair cut and wear those silly lyle and scott shirts :p
