OcUK Karting Meet - Gathering Interest

we've tried before and failed as nobody could agree on a date or a venue.

I'd love to do it. But just like the RR some will drop out and complain. Only way to do it is to just pick a venue that gets as many involved as possible, and just do it. And leave those that are unhappy with the choice to sulk.

I'l be in, but it obviously depends on availability.

Weekend of the 9th is out as I'l be birthdaying it up :D

Could be interested and might be able to bring a few others along. We currently regularly race there in an endurance series. Setup is pretty good, though the last manager left last year and he had the place running super smooth. Needs to get a few kinks out this year so far.
I'll be there this Thursday so we'll see if they've sharpened up their act.

Excellent, it'd be great to get some feedback. I work at The Bear - if you're feeling social, feel free to pop in and ask for Ben after 7pm :)

Fox, I'm afraid to tell you that the go-karts don't have dual climate control, iDrive, or DSC. However, there are no lorries on go-kart tracks, so I should be fine.

How much time do you get for £30?

I think its around 30mins. However, depending on numbers,i might be able to arrange a knockout/gp style event.

I'll post some more details tomorrow once i've heard back from the venue, i'll give a provisional number of between 15 and 20 people.

I'm in, subject to hitching a lift. :p

GP would be good if you go for it, although the cost is a little bit more...Daytona will do group bookings and give you discounts though (especially if someone claims it's their birthday :p), as I inquired before and keep getting emails about special days and stuff...although it's on an account I can't access currently. :(

Crawley is indoor and as such crap lol. Much better outdoor on a decent size track with proper asphalt! I've heard Thruxton is good for karting too.
