Essential iPhone Apps

properly used tvcatchup web app today watched f1 and bit of motd in between, impressed by it, quality seems to have improved and is a lot less blocky

Air Video can fulfil this requirement to some extent.

You need to install a (free) program that acts as a server on your home PC and select what video files to share. Then just install the iPhone app (there's both free with limited features and paid ones available).

You can then stream the shared video files over Wifi or even 3G (it works pretty well). The great thing though is it will convert any non-supported video files on the fly. Meaning you can watch DivX / MKV stuff from anywhere on your iPhone.

THIS IS AWSOME, 5 mins later i am buying full version.
