Which 3G dongle to get?

Now that i have a netbook, thinking of getting one of those PAYG 3G dongle but no idea which one is the best. What are people's experiences and what plans are best bang for bucks?

Or is it like getting a mobile, its much the same muchness?

Id just get the one that gives the most GB for the least amnount of cash if you will use it frequently.

For occasional use see if you can get one of the voda ones that dont expire

I work for broadbandgenie.co.uk - we did a big road test of 3G dongles (press release to come wednesday) and T-Mobile came out top in terms of on the move coverage.

I think the best bet is just to check coverage in your area through the providers' websites.

O2 gives unlimited wifi at BT wifi spots...I like that, does all provider have the same feature too ? or is it just an O2 thing?

Thats an o2 thing. Also if you do go for an Vodoafone dongle you may want to pick up the older ones from ebay. As the currently Vodafone PAYG in the shops expires after 30 days of topping up, unlike the older ones.

i got an O2 one in the end, the 30 days doesnt bother me, and the coverage is pretty good where i need it for
