Bizzare thread to start but I'm kinda confused and concerned at the same time.

I drink a LOT of Pepsi Max... I'm talking 5 - 6 Litres a week.. mainly while playing games or watching movies.

My reason for drinking Pepsi Max is that it has low levels across the board as far as Sugar content etc is concerned, bar the fact it is a gassy softdrink it does appear to be ok.

I'm just wondering if this is a major problem and if I should reconsider the amount I am drinking, I did attempt to switch to flavoured water over the weekend but I didn't really like it :(

Any good alternatives?

the acidity of it will be pretty bad for you, as well as the amount of sweeteners etc to make up for it being sugar free

Coke Zero? lol only j/k. drinking that amout is not good especially for ur gnashers. Water is prob the only good alternative with the amount ur drinking :D

Pepsi Max is a good one if you must drink soft fizzies. Probably the only area of concern is the artificial sweetener aspartame and the other additives like colouring.

I love Pepsi Max in terms of the alternative 'diet coke' options.

Crack is less addictive.

I tend to drink two glasses of water between each Pepsi Max.

It's full of CO2 and caffiene, neither of which are good for your body (in excess).

There's no caffeine in Pepsi Max. EDIT - yes there is, sorry.

Max isn't too bad, more sweetners than sugar such as aspartame, which has been linked to cancer, but these days, what hasn't? :p but it's still massively acidic.

how about fruit juice? massively high sugar content, but it's a natural sugar content which is marginally better, and part of your 5 a day.

or cut down on how much pepsi you consume, water it down?

my brother probably drinks 10 litres of this or diet coke a week. infact it must be more because i cant think of one other single drink that he drinks. no water , no fruit juice , no fruit even

hes alive although hes a 19yr old who weighs what the average 13 year old weighs :/
