in my mind the point of the assault is to go into an mcom/room first (maybe with a guy with a shotgun) kill 1-2 enemies with a tube maybe get one with a gun then medics etc coem in clean up and bring assault dude back to life. essentually expendable fodder, as long as you take out 2 for your one death youve done your job!
So in your mind the Assault is a suicide trooper who may aswell have C4 strapped to his vest whose only job is to act as fodder while the Medic kills everyone, the opposite of what a medics role should be? If your strategy is based around people dieing purely because you had a medic with you your strategy is badly flawed.
Each class has a grenade which are considerably more deadly than given credit for and the Assault will refill them. So why isn't the strategy to blow open the wall with the tube (or throw them in through the window) and catch people as they flee?
