Knife strikes don't register for me >50% of the time, very frustrating.

I had one the other day, enemy behind tree, go up behind him, knife him, he hears me, swings round as I open fire and knifes me, he puts in chat straight away ''lol'' fuming I was

STILL CANT PLAY "Failed to connect to EA online" in server browser.

Knife is so horribly broken. I've not been having much problems with it, then suddenly my hitreg went to hell on the SAS server. Knifed some guy in the back 3 times, he didn't notice, he moved forwards and shot someone, i followed, knifed him and it finally registered.

have you updated to the latest version of the game, run the updater as administrator from c/program files(x86) /Electronic arts/battlfield bad company 2/ bfbc2 updater

dont have that on steam

You havn't got anything in the EA server box filter in the server browser, have you, as I read that can causes this

tried on and off. I did have this issue at first but doesnt seem to do any effect now.

if me, I would now go and delete the Gamesettings File in my documents bfbc2 folder, you will loose any saved servers and recent history

The weird thing is i can log in quickly and it shows all the correct stats. Usely when i cant connect to EA games i cant log in.

have you tried turning upnp off in your router, as that can cause some people issues with connection to EA

You either have to use fraps (i think) or run it in windowed mode and do a print screen + copy into MS Paint.

Yep, with Fraps you can bind a key to take a quick screenshot

Holy christ, the saiga-12 is a beast of a weapon. I was getting utterly owned in a map, kept getting killed by a guy using that even if i had the upper hand. Decided to give it a go and on my first try got the 8 kill streak pin (which is rare for me).

Yep, sure is!

Because your using the ping tweak.

Remove the two lines regarding this and it will open fine. When done put them back.

Though I have moved onto the USAS now
