And to be honest, I dont think it can be any faster really for SSF4 if that video is anything to go by.

Mind you, one reason I had in my mind as to why it was fast...

Not many people are playing the game at the moment and PSN is not flooded with SSF4 players.... so bandwidth wise its not intense....

I assume!

But damn I have to say this game looks more polished, integrated and well put together than SF4...

Agreed, i have the original one favourited but this just craps over that one - truly awsome stuff. BTW is it possible to get the background music from gilleys video from somewhere?
 
Thats Guile Stage music baby :D Best soundtrack in the game imho :)
(And hence why I was asking if it were possible to choose your stage music).

As to the tune itself, Im sure its available on Youtube?
(But Im not sure of the legal implications etc).
 
That join was well quick for PS3. I had been playing on PSN for months and went on 360 yesterday and it's like automatic joining. More like 6+ seconds then a "Cannot join" message on PSN. Looks like they just made PSN to about the same level as Live, which it should have been from the start.

Anyone know about 4:28 with the message on the Juri player saying "Still training...."?

Sick if you could input your own text there. If anyone wants any games on Live on Vanilla, I am up for it. GT is RushThatDown
 
Just watched that video of the PS3 online, it looked so much better so i'm tempted. But you know what's really sad? The moment i heard the music kick in in the intro fight between Ryu and Ken i wanted the game so bad.

To preorder or not to preorder, that is the question D:. My main problem is i was, amongst the ocuk crew, the average guy. Now that i let myself stop playing due to the terrible championship patch on the PS3 i'm gonna be utterly awful compared to those i used to contend with. I'm worried i'll be utterly left behind basically :(

Your abel always destroyed me - i think pseudo and myself will be competing for the wooden spoon this time round! should be expecting this around weds hopefully from the usual source...

Regarding guiles soundtrack - is it legitimately available from anywhere?

after a couple of games your get right back into it. enjoyed the games we use to have :cool:

i had around the same break as you but recently started playing it again, you'll jump straight back into ;)

head over to event hubs, theres been a post on abel which should interest you.. hes apparantly got better anti air now, amongst other stuff.
 
Well, i do appreciate the support though i'm dubious whether you did in fact enjoy walking over me repeatedly :p. As i say, it's preordered, that online video was enough to set my fears to rest, the matchmaking is clearly better.

I'll be sure to check that out ojste, Abels anti air was the only real thing i'd say was just 'wrong', he literally had nothing that was reliable and those that COULD be used would always trade. There was nothing decent to protect from crossups or just plain jump-ins to be honest.

Do you know how dejected I feel after seeing Gilleys Guile Combo video? I will never be able to pull off combos that well, but I still love the game :)

Speaking of shopto folks, you all mentioned that they usually send out preorders Wednesdays, does that mean I have to select the signed for option or pay the extra for guranteed next day delivery or something?

Also, I did select the preorder button, but it didnt ask me for my payment details, do I need to go and do a physical order once more?

After Playing with Juri for a while at gamerbase with a 360 pad i couldn't pull of nothing what so ever, eventually i managed to gain up my game with her and i think she is just awesome i will definitely practice with her when its released on the PS her bicycle kick or whatever its called is a superb move.....

Overall Im quiet impressed with the game and looking forward to it coming through the post this week :D :P :D :D
