Ive played Eve...

Got 8 accounts, 70 mil SP chars on each account,
and currently in one of the best corps, which is in the best alliance in game.
got about 40-50 billion isks.

To be frank im bored :S

Need new alternative while im on an eve break

a new Titan Quest but i guess that'll never happen

Something like what Batman Arkham and Metro 2033 did...

A game that just comes out and makes you sit there hours on end till you complete it.. I like it when a game takes you by surprise and keeps you hooked...

So, for me, its the next big surprise hit that no one knows about yet..!!

Why are people constantly going on about BF3...just what can it bring us that Bad Company 2 hasn't? The only thing I can think of is 64 player maps. After just churning out a new game with almost all of the BF franchise hallmarks in it, they're not going to put out BF3 in the near future are they? It doesn't make sense really.

It's expected this year, winter 2010.

But it doesn't make any monetary sense. Why would they release a game almost identical to one they just released?

I'm as keen to jump on BF3 as anyone else, but Bad Company 2 seems like it's become the flag waver for the franchise now.

Probably try the new Starwars MMO, but as it is not FPS It will peobably be rubbish. Unless it is made likeSWG as that was actually the only enjoyable MMO. Both Jumpgate and Infinitey are FPS or what ever you call it.

I understand where you're coming from and i enitirely agree. I put BF3 on my list in a hope that they do something different compared to BC2, but they've put themselves in a difficult position.

It won't be identical. BF3 will *touch wood* be immense.

Yeah I want it to be too. I just can't see what else they could do with it. Unless they make it like what BF2142 was to BF2, ie same game but with totally new weapons, skins and maps.

That's enough to convince me to buy it all on its own (assuming it's any good of course). You say that like 64 player maps isn't that big of a deal?! It's Battlefield, not skirmish in a small field. I think the extra players will make battles feel far more epic than the fighting in BC2.
