Would you do this for 5.95 per hour?

Wouldnt expect many Brits to be doing that sort of job but expect quite a few immigrants to do the job....que the bleating about the immgrants stealing our jobs:rolleyes:

Even that's better pay than my current job (though my hours are far superior :p) :/

I'd rather do something I liked, but if that was the best thing available, then why I'd go for it. I'd rather do a horrible job than just stay unemployed.

Yes.
A) it is casual work so will be low paid.

B) I would accept any work if I did not have a job, Always have and always will. I do not believe people when they say they can not find a job. what they really mean is they can't find a job they like, or they have not been trying or looking hard enough.

In Cornwall, £6 is typical for admin work and general work like this.

You're lucky to get more down here.

I wouldn't do it right now as I earn significantly more for doing something significantly more interesting, but were I to fall on hard times I would consider it. The wage on offer seems perfectly reasonable to me for what is a low skill, low labour job.

If there weren't the immigrants, then Royal Mail would have to offer better money and/or T&Cs.

Hooray for Labour's open door immigration policy, totally screwing the working class - the very people the Labour party is supposed to be for.
