Thanks for clearing that up, It's not half as bad however as my opinon on how they are teaching maths in schools. Which is bizzare in the extreme

These debates and Brown's recent electioneering snafus have made me miss Blair. For all his faults at least he could handle himself in front of a crowd.

Looks like i was right

Nick Clegg, still plagued by Vote Labour placards at Leicester's De Montford University

So he only goes to uni's?

To be frank he as bad a coward as Brown, and not face real people

Just from the page I'm on when they've got sentences such as this "But Britain is slipping down the world league tables in reading, Maths and Science, and violence in the classroom is a serious problem." in their manifesto then I wouldn't be convinced they'll clean it up too well. Why are maths and science capitalised yet reading is not (I'd argue none of them should be)..

Because reading isn't a subject, but maths and science are?

Possibly and it's an idea I considered but then why (and how) is there a league table in it and indeed why put it first before actual subjects? Or is it simply an empty claim poorly phrased?

I've now finished skim-reading the manifestos of all three major parties and have come to the not unexpected conclusion that they're all full of relatively reasonable sounding policies on the face of it but are generally vague enough to not lead to the possibility of a party being held as not fulfilling their manifesto promises. However my postal vote has been sent now so I've done my bit, let's see if the politicians do theirs.

Well he’s got nothing good to say either, it's all political point scoring with him and he always avoids answering questions put towards him and even when he does he's Mr .Vague, he’s a worm.

Ha-Ha did you even watch it.
You might want to watch the closing statments. where Cameron had stuff to say, upbeat at that. Brown on the other hand said little and was doom and gloom.

Also what questions did he dodge?
Certainly not the one on immigration. He did not give a fiigure as there is no figure, but he explained the policy.

Sucks that this is such a Tory forum despite what the poll may say.

The impression I get from this forum is that there is a lot of wit around, but in threads about work and families there seems to be plenty of people with experience of working hard and living family life. So yes, no wonder theres a lot of right wingers here.

I think everyone else is letting the Tory fanbois have their little circle jerk knowing that it doesn't make much difference in the end, their rabid hatred of everyone else means there's little point getting involved.

Given that Labour, Conservatives and Lib Dems are all right-of-centre, it is not an unreasonable deduction to make that "most people here are right wingers", given that most people here will vote one of the three.
