even if there definetly wasnt CCTV it would still be worth reporting

and like many other have said , dixxy chicken are a huge franchise with shops all over the country. they will most likely have CCTV. and they would legally have to give the police it. not really hassle anyway is it ?

You should always get the police involved in a case such as this, no excuses.
 
I wouldn't have let him get away with that, if he gets away with it once that behaviour is bound to be repeated and inflicted upon someone else.

What you should wish upon the guy who done this to you is that justice be applied. The thought that after having done this to you he has not faced any consequences is really saddening. I would be way more ****ed off than you are mate.

he wouldnt have a choice. the police would ask if he had a recording from x date at y time and bar the recording going "missing" they would have a copy. there isnt any red tape with cctv downloads.

I really don't get the people who think the police will ignore racism if it's coming from a black guy, I presume it's based on the sun/daily mail evidence rather than actual experience. The police will act on an assault charge, and will only ramp up the charges with racially motivated if it's applicable.

Seriously, some of this junk in this thread is nothing short of ridiculous crap that I'd expect to hear from your average BNP voter, not from what I would perceive to be educated people.

By the way, I'm going with this story being grossly exaggerated. 30 Black men in a Chicken shop at 2AM sends alarm bells ringing alone, That must be some seriously GOOD chicken. I'm not saying it didn't happen, but I think there is more to this story...

:rolleyes: He wasn't debating whether it was actually racist or not, of course it was, he was making a joke due to the fact that the media makes out that racism only comes from white people towards black people.
 
There are white people that will kick the head in of a black or asian chap if he's on his own, just cause he's black or asian. When will people realise that the only race is the human race. We're all mongrel anyway if you go back far enough.

All the people who are saying to go to the police and get him done for assault, surely you can see this would just aggravate the situation. Though the only reason i can see that it would be a solution is if its not in his local area, then he may as well and just find another chicken shop to go to.

As anytime he would see these people in the future they would have even more of a reason to start something. Minor drama happens in my local kebab shop, but if anyone reported these things to the police the next time the two parties met in the shop it would be a hell of a lot worse.

I agree with the not going to the police, when\if you see them again it will only end with something minor like it did this time. If you had of got him done it would end a lot worse next time.
