I dont know if its out yet for PS3. Someone else chime in please.

It will be around £10 I expect (1200 ms points is about a tenner)

The only reason I got it as with all the packs is I hate having to quit out because I havent got the map. So its worth it for me if I want to keep playing MW2 MP. Personally I dont think much of the 3 new maps but love playing crash and overgrown again.
 
Well the game downloaded an update today and when I went online it said "new maps available check playstation store" but couldn't find them

So when you play without the map expansion pack it'll kick you out of the "playlist" as such? It's annoying enough when this happens normally...
 
If you don't have the map pack and you get a game which switches to one, you get booted. It's £11.99 on the PC so expect around the same for the PS3, it's essentially 5 maps, 2 of which are from CoD4 MW. Question to ask, is 5 maps worth £10+ to you :) I have held off buying it for now as Bad Company 2 is taking most my time up at present so MW2 is just gathering dust.
 
If the rotation is going to be like on the 360 version expect every other game to be the new map pack.

Yes that's fine at first but they get boring real quick when the rotation turns in to Bailout-Storm-Overgrown-Bailout-Overgrown.........

and don't worry if you don't have the map pack the game will not lobby you up with other players who have it, therfore you won't get booted because they won't be in the rotation.

Is this definitely how it should be on the 360? I get booted a lot from games as the map changes but as I play it on the PC most the time now thanks to a friend who gave me it over steam I am uncertain if the PC version will have the same issue when the map pack goes live later today.

yep If you don't have the map pack it disables it from the rotation
 
Don't think its worth it personally, 3 new maps that will hardly be played because of the rotation? Plus bf2 at the moment is much more interesting at the moment.
 
I think its a **** take that Xbox owners have the MW2 Stimulus Package first , saying that i hear microsoft payed a sum for this , now they have rights over PS3 owners on all call of duty games in the future

If its anything like on the xbox it has its own playlist and after a while will be dropped into normal playlists.. after which you'l actually probably play the new maps more frequently than you'd hope to!

I do agree the maps are over priced but the masses will pay full price so theres little optiion really....
