Buying Tomorrow!

Do you plan to over clock the CPU? as there is a OEM version of that CPU for £15 less & you could use that money towards getting a better CPU cooler

the second motherboard you listed has the latest chipset from AMD which would be cool to have but i dont know the advantages of having it over the 700 chipset

oh and it also has SATA 6GB/s and USB 3.0 so get the Asus M4A87TD Evo for the extra cash.

OEM..You will just get the CPU in must likely a plain box & no CPU cooler in there. Plus with some OEM stuff you only get 1 years warranty instead of 3 years.

It doesn't come in a nice box, or have a heatsink, and has a shorter warranty.

I'll keep with the £15 extra one i think i will most likely screw up the heatsink or something if i buy the OEM version

EDIT:

I've also taken away the fan, case and adapter away and added teh case which Stulid suggested to me.

Hmm i prefer the look of the Antec more, which would provide the best ventilation because i think i may look into overclocking the CPU

not completely sure which has the best ventilation, I just know that the zalman case has three fans included and the ocuk shop staff were biggin it up in the case forum over the 300.

If i bought the OEM version i'd just have to buy extra with one of these?

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-046-ZA because it doesn't come with one.. and i'm guessing this one is better then the stock cooler which would come with the CPU retail version.

Yeah you would need to buy something like that one....im not sure which are the best coolers so someone else may be able to help you with that. But general they keep the CPU a lot cooler than a stock ones. Plus if you were ever going to overclock its best NOT to use the stock coolers & use another one.

Soo i'm left with two options.

Option 1:

Option 2:

It's up to you what you go for, the 2nd will keep the CPU that little cooler & you have the choice to OC, but the 1st option will be fine if you are not overclocking, as I'm using a AMD stock cooler an got no problems with it but I would never risk OC with it.

Just checking do you have all ur other parts all ready...psu, DVD drive n hard drive etc?
