Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

I hold mine the same as the top middle pic too, but less 'stiff looking'. I tried different methods since my inputs can be messy, and the top left one works well. but the problem is, the one i'm used to feels more natural and i revert back without realising =/
 
Well shopto have made a **** up lol They've sent me the round 2 version of the TE so I'm not complaining for £70! :D

Man, I want to get home to see what I've got but I'm stuck in work until 6pm. :(

I was happy with the normal TE at £70 but now I'll be disappointed if I get home an it's not a round 2.
 
Hmm personally Id ask for it to be replaced since the first TE is still meant to be better - but I guess its only in small areas (both have pros/cons)...

EDIT: Ignore me Im an idiot :p. Keep getting TE: S and Round 2 mixed up - good bargain!

I suck at SF4 but was thinking of getting a fight stick. How does this fight stick match up against other fight sticks?

Pretty poorly in comparison to the cream of the crop from the one review i've read, but it's also a third of the cost (also, keep in mind the SE SFIV stick was £60 when that came out and also rubbish, the only reason we all bought it is because we could mod with sanwa parts). I'd wager it's functional and a perfect stick for a casual player, also if you do decide to get well into it and invest in a great stick that would make a fantastic backup for friends when you play locally.

If it's rubbish, just return it within 7 days under the distance selling act.

Looks a bit of a weird shape and also the buttons look strange with the silver.

I got my Hori FS3 for £27 delivered :D (brand new from a shop online)

There are a few shops with offers on the SE's also (£19-£25) but most places seem to be sold out :(
 
Just had a few goes with my new TE and I think it's going to be a while before I'll be any good with it! Is the transition from pad to stick as painful as it feels right now?

Yep, slow, arduous and frustrating if you learnt to play with a pad initially. It's worth it in the long run though. Just spend an hour in training mode trying to get to grips with the thing before you even think of venturing online as that just ends in rage
 
Thanks I'll give that a go :) I'm pretty new to SF games, I seem to have major trouble pulling off EX's that require you to hold/charge one way to the other, ie Guiles first EX, any advice? ie how long to hold buttons for?
