That's my lot! :)

Right, shower time to warm me feet up!

Just the 50mm 1.8

Had it on AV mode, Aperture set to 1.8, camera metering did the rest and I just picked the focus point. Yeh sometimes the metering went a bit gay, I took about 50 photos and only came up with those 13 :o

Whats that Mini had done to it to make such power?

I spy that M44RAO has a GRS intercooler so I'd hazard a guess that he's also got a 17% pulley, maybe a Dave.F airbox (can't tell from the pic), Janspeed manifold and Milltek exhaust.

(I have no idea really but they seem to be the standard mods path that most Mini owners go down)

240-250 isn't that hard to achieve to be honest, just easy bolt on bits really. Once mine is out of warranty in October I'll be changing my pulley and maybe a few other small changes :)

Should have asked for no pics because it's not really in the right state for pics. :o

Nothing wrong with living life a bit dangerously, keeps you on your toes! ;)

Mario's car is as follows:

Alta 17% reduced supercharger pulley
GRS intercooler
M7 cold air intake
Janspeed manifold
Millteck exhaust from a Cooper with no centre resonator
M7 enlarger throttle body
MSD coilpack and magnacore ignition leads
M7 oil catch can

:)

Marios car was absolutely awesome, it sounded lovely, looked smart & knocked out lots of ponies - spot on!
Shiwarriors 172 had a lovely engine noise with the new filter, I wish my old Cup & Trophy sounded that good!
McHaMmEr had my favourite exhaust sound, can't beat a good Scooby burble :)
And Westys Saab is just pure win... Comfortable but fast!
And i'm jealous of Darryns trackday toy project!

Some good pics of the grandad machine. Cheers guys! Didn't realise it was interesting enough to warranty several pictures in one thread :p

I took a few so I'll sort through them either tomorrow or Monday and get them uploaded.

Kosta, didn't realise that was your brother and Dad. A question about your brother's Mini... is it a conversion? It's just the exhaust... don't the boosted Mini's have the exhaust pipes in the centre of the bumper? Either way, a good result!

Not a bad guess eh? :)

TomO stole me o'rses

still a bit more to come. hit the speed limiter in 5th at about 4000rpm, this run was in 4th where it hit at just over 5300rpm but redline isnt until 6500rpm and the power was still climbing. Ignore the curves before about 2500rpm as that was just trying to feed the power in, as 4th would spin the rollers. Hence 3rd wouldn't have hit the speed limiter and given a full rpm range but wouldn't have got any traction at all!

torrque figure wont increase as peak was at 3500rpm.

quite happy as its stock minus the secondary cats, although most make a bit over book figures apparently.:)
