Congrats fella, nothing like the feeling of your first home. Looks remarkably similar to the last flat I rented, coupla things bugged me about that.
Firstly the noise (and smell - make sure the waste outlet is plumbed in properly) from the washing machine in the joint kitchen/living room. I'd recommend getting the quietest washing machine you can, even if it means shelling out a bit more dosh.
Secondly the cost of running spotlights e.g. there were 10 spotlights in the kitchen/living room not including the under-kitchen unit ones - my electricity bills were huge. Fortunately it doesn't seem like you'll have that problem as I can't see spotlights - I guess all new builds are A-rated for energy efficiency these days.

As for the washing machine, it's out of the way in a cupboard in the hall, not in the living area or near the bedroom.
Oh, and all lights are energy saving gubbins.

I'm surprised they have installed electric heaters in a new build (assuming that is what they are). Are you "off gas" there?.

No gas sadly, but I opted to upgrade the hob as a result. No way in hell will I be cooking on shoddy hotplates!

For me not having a gas cooker is a deal breaker I must say!
