Good! People need to stop taking games so seriously, it's pathetic.
I don't understand how such people even enjoy their games when they take them so seriously.
you can go into console when you die to see how much damage you did to your opponent, which is honestly retarded in a competitive sense.
Why? Because you can tell your teammates how much HP they have left I guess?
I guess this is a testing ground for ideas they might implement in the next cs to see how people react and if they work
This beta will run for a limited time, and once complete, the update will be deployed to all Counter-Strike: Source owners for free via Steam.
Im sure the hit reg is off with this beta, i've never had it with cs before but i had a case of the bendy bullets before. I'd ran around a corner (not wallbang capable) and then got killed... MW2 style![]()
What is pathetic is all the people the just mess about on public when the game is really at its best in 5v5 situations with everyone on comms.
I really do not see the point of people playing public unless for warming up or having a laugh with mates.
If you have tried and failed at playing competitively, 5v5 mixs etc, it means your either A: got really shocking aim, B: you've got no game sense and don't listen.
Source has always been strategically worse than 1.6 for the reason that you cannot shoot through walls properly and you can go into console when you die to see how much damage you did to your opponent, which is honestly retarded in a competitive sense.
While this update really shows that source is for public whereas 1.6 competitively much better. The achievement is beating 5 other people over 2 halves of 15, why do you need steam to tell you, oh well done you got a 5man defuse when your smashing some team?
For some reason, and I'm not quite sure why, I have the impression that you're another person who takes games too seriously.
Not sure why though...
or the netcode, animations, movement, recoil, sounds or other visuals....have they sorted out the hitboxes yet
