If you have not played this masterful puzzler, you are probably one of the nubs who keeping asking for spare copies of HL2.

One of the games I have never got around to even bother buying don't even know what the hell it's about (I assume to do with portals ) 
I have Half-Life 2 played all of 17mins of it dunno what I'm doing in it

Never bought the Orange Box, received HL2 and EP1 as gifts and bought TF2 Separately.
Perhaps if this is good I might be encouraged to buy Portal 2 later this year

It's no different than a free weekend for a multiplayer game really.
It's not being released as freeware, it's simply being made free to play for the time being to atract mac users (and Windows users who have yet to covert) to the Steam platform.
Well that's what I mean, I don't think that is how it works, I think it's effectively on sale for 2 weeks at £0.00, not the same as a free weekend.
I can't be 100% sure as I already own it so I can't really see what happens when you try to get it.

Well it has replaced the *First slice* that was in my steam games list and has no expiry date, so what's that mean
