HTC Desire Pink issue

i still reckon mine has a pink hue to it!

I have been to CPW and this is now my 3rd phone and each one looks the same!

I am not sure if i should go for a fourth device?

Thats fine lol...stop being so anal about it lol.

Mine is about the same as yours.

All Desires have a pink hue to them, due to the AMOLED tech being used...some are bad like khaaans.

lol, but when i have now compared it to 3 others phone you can clearly see a difference.

I had forgot about it until i was talking to someone who had just got a new one.

How easy was it to sort it out at cpw? Mine is from mobiles.co.UK which is cpw. Thinking of swapping it for another. Are they funny about it? Should I take the lot back including the accessories or just the phone itself? Did they give u a new handset every time or a refurb?

Well all i was told i needed was the phone and they took it from new stock each time.

But the store might not take one from online back?

I'm going to give them (cpw) a ring tomorrow I think, see what they say. They've got one of them walk in repair stores by me and a regular shop too so hopefully I can get my hands on a new one.

Don't have a camera with me unfortunately to take a photo but looking at the yours I think mines quite a bit pinkier, although photos can be deceiving.

Yeah it doesnt look that pink irl. I posted a pic in the desire thread that shows Google maps rather pinky but only the camera picked it up

I dont think they will. When i called CPW, and told them about it they said its no problem getting it replaced, but since i got it instore they couldn't replace it over the phone.

I'drather have my Xperia X10. As it doesn't have the pink ish problems. :-)

I'm very glad I went with the Desire, though, as the X10 feels inferior in almost every way.

The X10 is like running Linux or OSX on a SLI Gaming Rig.

Good hardware, completely let down by the software it runs. Where are though multi touch?

Android is based apon Linux though. What's wrong with the software ?

I really, really can't see how the X10 is inferior in every way and nobody has yet to give me justified reasoning as to why?
