Anyone ever noticed the Quicksilver logo similarity to the 'Great Wave of Kanagawa' by Hokusai? The wave with the snow topped Mount Fuji in the background? Tin hats out lads....

Edit: image was wayyyyy too large

Erm thought it was inspired by that anyway consider Quiksilver is/was pretty much a surfing label - a tsunami seems kinda obvious...

how is it a shameless copy? it's a mountain behind a wave, I bet you could find other pictures showing the same, it doesn't mean it's a copy. It does look likely that it's inspired by it though. Not sure how it can be a copy when they're completely different apart from position of mountain/wave

If you look at the Fedex logo, there's an arrow between the e and the x, not so obvious in some of their logo designs

On the subject of Quiksilver, I love the brand. They do some really nice clothes, hats, board shorts, wetsuits etc.
