Anyone ever noticed the Quicksilver logo similarity to the 'Great Wave of Kanagawa' by Hokusai? The wave with the snow topped Mount Fuji in the background? Tin hats out lads....

Erm thought it was inspired by that anyway consider Quiksilver is/was pretty much a surfing label - a tsunami seems kinda obvious...

Nothing to see here - move on people :p

Inspired? It's a shameless copy. Anyway one of the lads at work pointed it out so though i'd OCUK it :)
how is it a shameless copy? it's a mountain behind a wave, I bet you could find other pictures showing the same, it doesn't mean it's a copy. It does look likely that it's inspired by it though. Not sure how it can be a copy when they're completely different apart from position of mountain/wave

I'm quite pleased we came accross that before knowing it was true.

So it wasn't a coincidence was it, eh? Naysayers :)

Because it's OCUK tradition to mock anything or anyone who is non-conformist.

Ah but by being non-conformist you are conforming to the non-conformist way, so technically all non-conformists must be mocked for being such hypocrites!
