Why does it look like in your first picture, that you've bent your case above the CPU fan?

Ah yes ... the bend facilitates better air flow of course! If you think that is novel, you should see my lounge (It is bent around my case).

Here we go this is my latest build 5970 + 5870.







put Ek back plate on my 5970 and forgot to put other 1 on 5870. so loop to drain and put EK back plate on this time.

That looks a bit like mine, where did you get the extra cables for the second card I see they look different from the PSU ones, I need to buy a couple extra as I have lost some of the cables that came with my toughpower PSU.

Sorry guys to bump this thread I am really curious as to wether those of you running 5970+5850 are having problems with tesselation being enabled on metro 2033? the problem doesn't seem to be there with 5970+5870? the fact that it crashes is preventing me from keeping the 5850 as this could happen with other dx 11 games and tesselation.

Any ideas?

Does it work with crossfire on but only going to 1 monitor? I know it works with 5970+5870 as I've tried it, but with the 5850 it just locks up.

I am curious to whether it's because the 5850 and 5970 actually are different cards, because the 5970 is just 2 downlocked 5870's.

It's good to know yours worked fine, what make of 5850 are you using?

Some people are reporting certain 5850's aren't working properly in trifire and tesselation I would like to buy one and make sure I get a model that works!

The PSU is a Corsair HX1000 and those cables came with it .....

Here is mine. Just built this new loop. Its an antec 1200 case with a tripple rad in front and a double rad in back. The tripple radc ools before hitting GPU's and the double cools ready for CPU. Its on a single loop.

GPU temps are down from 90 under load to 42 under load and cpu down from 70 under load to 42 under load

Its not the card dropping its the way the backplate has bent slightly when the block is attached.

Depends what drivers you have. I have some leaked driverds which were posted on here about a month ago and eyefinity with tri-fire is working.

I have 3 x 24 inch screens and run res @ 5760 x 1200 and BC2 rocks. I get an average of about 100 fps with tri-fire eyefinity

Please state what drivers you are using and what in game settings for this. I prefer to play BC2 on the 5970 only when using Eyefinity as it is smoother (I am using, max settings with 1xMSAA, HBAO on) - I am using the drivers noted below and found none to be any better and I have tried most if not all of em! Just need clarificaiton to see if I have missed out ...!
