The Weather....

I made my job to be outside all day long!

Living by the sea is awesome! So now I am burnt, but at least the house is at 20 degrees because of our aircon.

I do have to go outside to warm up everynow and then tho'

:-)

I'd love to do that! Did you have to dive in a dry-suit and what's the viz like? Also what did you see down there?!!

Yeah I used a dry suit, It was quite warm kitting up in the scorching sun :)

The viz was pretty bad, maybe 3 - 4 metres at best and sometimes I could barely see my buddy only a few feet away, I was doing some compass training and had to locate the tether of a buoy (which I failed to do :p)

It was at Crummock water and there's very little to see except slate, dead wood, a snowman figurine and silt, lots and lots of silt, infact the silt is so bad you can put your arm into it and it keeps going in, without any resistance ,that feels quite weird :D

oh yeah, I forget , I saw a shoal of perch too, and helped an overheating old dog recover :)

We just booked up to Ithaca in July for two ******** weeks island hopping. Yes, it's fun, but good grieve will I be hot. I'm already panting like a dog in this weather, I'd imagine Greece will be hotter by quite some margin.

Love it, i can't wait to get a real heatwave in the summer. I want it to get to the high 30's to annoy all these weirdos who think its too hot and hate the sun :)

Thanks for the reply!! Will definitely have to give freshwater diving a go as i've only done sea diving in warm weather. I know how failing to find something with a compass is like. I had to do something similar for one of the courses but luckily as my air was nearly gone i managed to find the weights belt that my instructor decided to drop in between some coral and half cover with sand!

Glad you saved the dog too!! :D

Much too hot to be up a set of stepladders wiring in kitchen lights whilst trying to shake off a hangover. :(
But it was perfect for sitting in the garden with salad, fresh baked bread and cider after I finished my housework.

Bring it on!

EDIT: Hey, what's wrong with black socks with my denim shorts and string vest?

yeh but black socks and white traineeeees with shorts ? ?
i mean what do they think when they look in the mirror ? " yeah i look gooooood ! "

other than this......

i did find myself complaining to myself about how hot it was, spent most of my time in the shade dodging bloody wasps !!!!
