I read a rumour ages ago that a new Theif title was in development and have not heard anything since

Anyone have any info?

Theif games are probably my all time favourite but I dont know what will be worse, if its a console exclusive or they ruin it i'd rather they just didnt bother :mad:

I agree though, they certainly fail at l33t speak.

Everyone knows 3 = e, 4 = a.

About the only incorrect spelling which is more irritating is rouge/rogue.

In before OP claims dyslexia, but somehow spells that correctly

Meh bit of spell fail never hurt anyone I did my studying and passed years ago theres no exams here

No one has any further info then, shame, I thought this forum was full of insiders and secret squirrels

Well if you follow the website link in my post you can go to the forums there which has this thread containing all the latest news and updates.

There's also the developer's Twitter page which they seem to update regularly, though not necessarily with just Thief info.

Way to miss the point, they're replacing an E with a 4, which everyone knows doesn't work. 4 looks nothing like an E. 4 = A and 3 = E.

Probably, reading that thread is scary, I expect a console port with console type gaming such as health regeneration and a little fairy that holds your hand through the game and tells you exactly where to go how to carry out all the tasks without having to use your brain which is typical of most current generation of games, pretty soon you wont need a controller/keyboard & mouse the games will just play themselves

Anyway, they are concentrating on Deus EX 3 so Thief 4 is a long long way away
