rofl half your power useage is going to be going driving fans - which must be the best part of 300watt with all of them running flat out.

600 GB Western Digital WD6000HLHX VelociRaptor, SATA 6Gb/s, 10000rpm, 32MB Cache, 4.2 ms

Do you honestly need all the graphics cards?

You realise how stupidly big that case will be when you get it don't you, it will be crazy.

I would get rid of two cards, smaller case, watercooling, SSD instead of the Velociraptor.

Ahh, a breath of sense :)

If he does a lot of compositing in hd then the grfx won't hurt (except his electricity bill) but think of the folding@home possibilities lol. He could cure cancer with those 28 fans!

I hope to god you're a troll OP. A "pick the most expensive of everything" troll.

If not then you'll need a second PSU in all likelyhood.

Dude, i do 3d "stuff" and video editing for uni, and there's no way you need that much GFX power or RAM!

If you do, buy a render farm or something, anyway graphics cards only visualises whats visable on the screen so unless you have your computer showing what the final look will be at all times it's very pointless, it's the CPU that does the actual rendering when you hit the wee render button.
If anything get two i7 cpu's......if they make those mobos, would be more beneficial for you.

More like 100w unless they're Panaflos, Deltas etc. Still absolutely silly. I have a grand total of 4 fans in my system, CPU, GPU and PSU included!

Aahahaha

The moniter im going to use is Acer GD245HQ 23.6 and I do
3d modeling and gaming for movies and other stuff

ahahahahaha. Nevermind, clearly trolling or dreaming.

I don't see the point he won't use half the power of the PC, it will be worth 1/10th as much in 6 months time and be outperformed by mid-range hardware in considerably less than 2 years.

Theres absolutely no point buying the biggest and best hardware any more, either buy something that matches your needs or the stuff that one step below the bleeding edge as you generally pay closer to half the price and won't notice the performance difference.
