If you saw that zooming up to the back of you in the outside lane, the first thing that would cross your mind would be that it would just swallow your car up... whole ... then spit it back out onto the hard shoulder.

You'll find when taking photos in other countrys the air is much cleaner than England, so the photos come out with an extra WOW factor.

Sounds like rubbish I know, but it's true. There is so much crud in our air over here its unbelievable.

I think you're over generalising, at the distance used to photograph vehicles the amount of contaminate particles in the air for all intents and purpose, completely invisible to the human eye and won't be picked up by cameras.

You need to start looking at ranges past 100m or so to start seeing the masses of dust/etc between you and the object start to haze/blur things.

It also depends, you say your country is bad, where? the entirety of it? Doubtful, cities? yeah.

Pasadena is basically a suburb of LA and the air in LA is anythign but clean..

i thought this as well

LA is in the state of California, the state with the strictest emissions laws of all the states. Why ? because they have such terrible smog problems. Thats why their emissions laws are heavily geared to the other gasses that make up the visible forms of polution rather than purely on Co2 like our tax system is based.

Even despite the low emission restrictions, the air in LA is no cleaner than here. Of the top 10 polluted US cities, roughly half (or more depending on what indicator you use) are based in califrornia. With LA being the most polluted city in the whole of the US in one chart.

A lot of money, but very little style is what I see in most of those pics. What is it with a nice car, garnish it with ridiculously oversize 'bling' wheels with Brembos, don a front splitter = win? Looks like a lot of fail IMO.

Only ones I like except the bright orange one!

I'd have to agree for the most part, but the blue M5 hiding behind the Powerchip girls gets my respect. New York to LA at an average speed, including stopping for fuel etc, of 93MPH. NINETY THREE  Very few mods too: Custom exhaust and an enduro fuel tank and that was it IIRC. Full story behind it here
