Looking for a new system - still. had a few ideas and all around the i7 920, but now its not even on the site?

Has it all gone?

They had loads a few hours ago, also they better still have some as my order has one on, and is just being held up by the finance of it. Also when talking to customer support earlier there was no indication that they did'nt have any.

If it is true and they are gone, then im just gonna cancel the order and get elsewhere.

I checked about 1pm and there was none then, some other places have them but wanted to get a full setup from the same place. not sure on the 930, heard it's not that good at overclocking... and cost more too!

Will see if they post anything to let us know whats going on :)

The 920s are no longer listed so it's a safe bet to say they're not coming back. However, that being said it would be reasonable to assume that some limited stock is left to deal with pending orders at the very least.

Shame to see the 920 go, epic chips they are. It seems that AMD is back to being nr1 bang-for-buck. The 930s being overpriced at the moment and all, I suspect due to retailers hiking up the price.

Phew, got my 920 last week and it's happiy doing 4ghz at 1.23v. Great chips for the money, did notice mine was made in 2008 though!

Are these likely to still be around a bit later on this year(September/October)? I'm planning a new build for then and would love to have this chip.

I imagine they will be sold out within the next few days/weeks/maybe months as the 920 is not being produced any more. In September / October i imagine you will need to buy the 930 which is the newer version even though they perform the same.

I'm trying to buy one but after i verify my card details using the visa sign it it errors out and gives me - "Sorry, but the payment process has failed. Response: (100) Timeout reading from socket"

I've sent a webnote asking if its a problem at my end or theirs and how to solve it but nothing back yet.

Leave me 1 please!
