So so tempted to get one now, had thought about it at launch, discarded the idea and am now really after one again, I love my iphone, my girlfriend has her laptop, and it'd be nice, when we get our house to not have to be up on the pc all the time to go online, and I don't think I really "need" a laptop, per say, and this'd do all I'd need and cost the same as a standard laptop, my only issue is whether a strict wifi only would be right, and if the £30 official Apple case is worth its cost!

Might pop into the Apple store on friday after work, not sure if these ae looking like they will sell out on release day?

Some of us are TNT and others seem to be UPS. Apparently if you have a Z in your Delivery Reference Number then that's a UPS one.

I tired both trackers and both dont recognise the AWB number

Not that I'm constantly checking *ahem* but mines at TNT's Arnhem hub as of 0200 this morning. So close I can almost smell it.

This is from the email I recieved from Apple on May 22nd entitled Your Apple Order W12345678 Has Been Shipped. The rather large number is the number I am using to track it via TNT's website. I enter that as a reference number NOT a consignment number. Other people have UPS tracking numbers and apparently they have a Z in them where TNT's appear to be all numbers.

Your probably right as I've, rather sadly , changed the last digit(s) in my reference number to see if they have used sequential numbers and they have. Lots of shipments, for UK, arrived in Arnham overnight.

They re-use tracking numbers. Guys, STOP WORRYING.

You've had the dispatch email so it'll arrive. The fact that some are already in the UK means nothing (well, it means they're being held for the next 2 days ) As said already.. it's entirely possible you'll get the package without the tracking number ever showing up on the Apple website. UPS and TNT are both solid couriers in my experience, sometimes they take a while to update the status.

Last time I waited for a package it was for a Mac Pro + Cinema Display, and I had 2 hrs notice from when the Apple page updated and the actual van coming down the drive.

Chill. The more you check the page, the worse it'll seem.

Just recieved my stand for it. I'm not fussed about an offical dock, I just wanted a stand for my desk and for putting the iPad on so it can become my clock/alarm at night replacing my phone (unless it's too bright, due to its size, and lights the room too much )
