So if you've installed 10.5 already just remove them, reboot then install these i guess? i've never installed over and do not wish to try but these are the complete CCC package right? guess it will not work too with my 5870 since it doesn't list 5 series.... zzzzzzz

Just when I rolled back to 10.2 10.5a comes along... (Only two that have officially supported the 5830).

I can't be bothered trying 10.5a though, 10.5 gave me no gains over 10.2, just problems.

On 10.4a with Crossfire 5850's.

Not sure if it's worth going with either the official 10.5 or 10.5 hotfix.

Will give these a try. Hopefully after the tenth time it will actually fix the BC2 loading time.

works for me great

I've BFBC2 and a 4890 and I assumed the long loading times I had with 10.4 were the "shortened" ones if that makes sense as had no reference

installed 10.5 and noticed no difference

installed 10.5a and WOW - way way quicker loading, about 1/4 the time :)

@Buckster.
I've got the same card so will do the same, I loaded the 10.5's yesterday no probs at all but I'll loads these now you've wrote that so cheers.

I've just had to uninstall and reinstall 10.2 AGAIN.

10.5 has completely messed my system up. Considoring reinstalling Windows and then installing 10.5a...

well oddly my memory idle speed has gone up (is now fixed at the overclocked speed)

but GPU speed is dropping to idle speed with no probs

temps don't seem any different

mmm I'm beginning to doubt what I thought was the original temp

currently idling at 56C which I seem to thi was normal

I don't remember it idling sub 50 anyway
