if you didnt read the first post i asked what your views were on this. not to help me get over it im more than capable of sorting my own life out. it just gave that story as an example.

@OP I used to think like you - why should people take the **** out of me if I never take the **** out of them etc...

In the end its just a load of alpha posturing etc... every other guy trying to assert himself over the group - thing is they are your mates and probably don't mean anything by it so don't take it personally despite it seeming hurtful. Just dish it back to them tbh... chances are you're not that confident, only way to cure this is to just act a bit more confident and don't let any of this stuff affect you and just dish it back to them.

I can guarantee that if you start ribbing this other guy as much as he is ribbing you then you won't start taking it so personally in future and it won't get to you as much.
 
yeah i spose i should be more confident. but really its not about confidence because i am a confident person in most situations. its more the fact that i consider them friends and they turn around and rip the **** out of me after me doing nothing wrong.

yea me and the lads do the same all day every day but we know the line, we know when we offend too much to back off and apologise but if your so called friends enjoy going to far and upsetting you as opposed to just been funny then get rid not worth it. Now if you want them to stop ignore it like it doesn’t bother you, or better yet find this so called 'witty' kids weak spot something hes self conscious about and rip him a new ass. I don’t condone upsetting someone but they will learn to stop if they are hurt back!

Other than that grow a pair tell em where to go and find new mates.
 
You are 16 so you're mates Mum is probably around 36, Give her my email addy & I'll get nekkid pics of her you can post on your facebook, that'll learn him.
 
Just make up funnier stuff in return, we do it all the time. Dodgy photoshop pics posted around the office, putting gold fish in their water dispenser, and so on. We have one mate who thinks its hilarious to take the mickey a bit too far, when we dismantled his new car and held the bits to ransom for a week, posting him bits each day he kinda quit being such a ********.

I agree. Whilst I have an account, I barely use it. It's intersting to see how much other people are messing up and willingly post about it for all to see, no matter how shameful. There's some real comedy gold out there from time to time.
