Webber should have given him the line though. He should not have defended his position against Vettle once Vettle got in front. If it was anybody else then fair enough.
If Hammy wins this then McLaren are quite lucky that the Gods of F1 racing were looking down on them favourably...up until Vettel tried to take out Webber but took himself out, it was looking like a RBR 1-2 finish.
Would suck for Hammy if his engine blew up or ran out of fuel....
Do Red Bull really think McLaren are low on fuel? Could they actually not finish the race I just assumed it really meant slow down and stop racing, which is why they told Hamilton both cars had got the same message.

Not at all, they are still racing, there was no need for vettle to turn. Just look at button and lewis being ahead in part of a corner means nothing.
There was simply no reason for vettle to turn in
watch the replay, once people have seen the in car footage they all changed to vettles fault.
The McLaren gap to Webber in 3rd is 22seconds... so McLaren should be able to put it into most conservative map and tell drivers to short shift and still have plenty of gap time to spare.
