Debadged the front grille today, opinions please?

Hey guys,

I bought a spare front grille the other day with the intention of removing the Subaru badge from the front. And here are the results:

During (cut the bit out but hadn't smoothed filled and painted yet):

There are plans to repaint, or just remove that weedy horn at the front, and for a front lip which I think will improve the look? And maybe add some mesh to the other 3 big holes in the front.

So what do you think ? :)

Prefer it with the badge. I hate debadging in general. Just makes it look like somethings missing.

EDIT: haha great minds think alike ^^

Becaaaaause I've seen it on cars which look good without it. Hence I got a spare and did it on that, just incase I don't like it!

Thanks for the opinions thus far, just trying it out! :D
 
Someone stole the badge. I’d get a replacement in the morning as it looks like yuck without one. :D

Also are you missing foglights? or is one your CAF and the other to match? :p
 
Hmmm gotta be honest mate and say it looks better with although it doesn't look "bad" as it were, end of the day mate its whatever you are happy with :)
 
You spent all that time doing that? I'd have done it for you in under 30 seconds with some cutters.


On a serious note, I prefered it with the badge.
