Nice find:)

I used this to scan my save (99.93% completion) and it showed me I needed:

1 weapon part
1 vehicle part
1 cash stash
1 water tower

The water tower is labelled as "bugged" in this program which makes sense seeing as there's no water tower there for me (x18111 y15326) so I still have 220 water towers despite there supposedly being 221.

Weird thing is though, despite picking up the 3 resource items it showed, my completion has only gone up to 99.95%.

It does show bridges on this map (for limbos), and I've only done a small fraction of them, but I don't see % go up when I do them so I don't think they're needed.
 
I got this game last week for the PS3 and i'm finding it a little bit dull?

All i seem to do is blow up water towers and blow up gastanks etc and shoot people?

There must be something else to the game that im missing as you all seem to be raving on about it!

you have to play it aggressively, find more creative ways to do those things...


Also I seem to do is drive/fly about, kill babys thugs, blow gas tanks and petrol stations sky high, than have a fight out :P than do something simlier....but I use the grappling hook to find ever more funny ways to take down my opponents :p

Try and get some of the easier achievements . Like hang and drag kills, and stuff should be falling into place. But it's what you make of it. Go and knock a woman out of a motorised junk-boat thing, attach her to back of a powerboat, and take herr waterskiing... albiet with no skiis, or formal consent.

try it, tie two people up with it its funny, or pull them off towers. or tie them on the back of a jet fighter :D
 
rescue the witness

hi
has anyone done this mission yet, I know there are 3 cars the first containing the witness. I can take care of the back 2 cars while hanging from the chopper, but he keeps taking to much damage and crashes even though I am on top of the witness car and I die. any help would be grateful. thanks
 
there are quite a few like that, as said take out the two cars escorting, but there is a dude shooting at you from a open door, maybe two.
 
Happened to do that mission last night.

I grappled down onto the back car, shot the two backseat soldiers when they leaned out to shoot me, then a shortcut to take out the second car is to use the grappling hook to attach that car to the ground and it should crash out. Once it has gone, your back car will speed up to catch up with the witnesses car and you can grapple over, deal with the soldiers and then hijack the car. Job done!

Don't worry about your 'support' chopper. He got shot up and I heard him crash but it didn't fail the mission :)
 
Here's a question;

If I buy the Just Cause 2 DLC from Steam before I have the game as I want to buy a hardcopy will it all work out fine? It's the same price on steam as elsewhere so would rather not wait for a huge download! (I'm guessing the game is big)

Only about 7.5Gb. Not as big as you would expect. As for your other question, no idea! I have had issues with Steam DLC before i.e. it disappearing from my account after a windows re-install.

Ah screw it, you pulled my leg you persuasive person you.

If I get told off by her for the downloading + money spending, I'm blaming you ;)
 
The DLC for this is good fun, adds some more ways to cause chaos for sure - although my favourite is the rocket boosters for the parachute - makes it much more fun to glide about :D
 
Does anyone run any mods with JC2 then? Saw a video of a few lol so you could randomly spawn any vehicle and a few various things.
