The Haunted Island Where Dolls Come to Life.

Freaky.

Reminds me a bit of some photos a friend showed me some years ago.

They were doing a tour by train of Eastern Europe and everyday they had to find a place to stay for the night. They said in most small towns this was very easy as soon as you got off the train.

In one small backwards town, I forget which country he said it was, they got off and were greeted by people offering accommodation. Most places were like 50p a night!

So they agree to go with this old woman who says her place isn't far away. So they follow her, but end up walking quite a few miles. When they eventually get to her place, they are greeted by the sight of hundreds of barbie doll type heads on sticks all over her property. Was freaky as hell.

There is no way in hell I would go to that place. Three things freak me out in life, clowns, mimes and dolls. I should have listened to my mother when she said not to watch horror movies as a child :(.

Is it just me or are broken dolls about as scary as a pile of old bottles? I'd like to go for the history and legend of the place but it'd just be quite funny seeing them all! Having said that, any excuse to visit Mexico would be a good one!

Destination Truth covered this, entertaining but finding the truth part sucks, but Jael de Pardo is hot.
