I decided to do a benchmark with a
q6600 @ 2.4ghz stock
and
q6600 @ 3.2ghz with ram 1:1
heres my results
Q6600 @ 2.4ghz stock
DirectX 10 GAMER 1X @ Map: ambush @ 0 1920 x 1200 AA 0xx
==> Framerate [ Min: 22.87 Max: 56.85 Avg: 39.15 ]
Q6600 @ 3.2ghz - Ram 1:1
DirectX 10 GAMER 1X @ Map: ambush @ 0 1920 x 1200 AA 0xx
==> Framerate [ Min: 30.94 Max: 65.50 Avg: 49.13 ]
as you can see with stock it is majorly bottlenecked with 8-10fps loss on the minimum, average and max FPS
this is just for future reference for people who wanted answers on this
gona start overclocking the 5870 tonight and post more results later
