Because in actual fact if they don't get wasted they might realise most of the stuff they do at night is ****.

12 cans for a weekend should be fine, supping one every so often for the taste rather than the drunkenness. 5 Days however, seems a bit tight even from someone who has about a can a month*

*Not that I drink from cans, cider has to come out of a glass bottle!

I think it's a culture thing. Many people in the UK would look upon those that eat horse meat for example, with a similar level of disdain

Why can you only take 12 cans?

Just buy some soft drinks, drink the soft drinks and refill with spirits. To Vfest (3 night festival) I took 24 strongbow, 75cl morgan spiced, 4 litre bag of wine - which I also managed to get into the main arena down my jean leg

You're there to have a good time and a few drinks can add to the occasion - if im at a BBQ i'll have 4-5 bottles of ale, its hardly a drunken binge is it?

i dont know why they limit booze because in all fairness.
Guys drink more than girls and it depends on your size and how regularly you drink.
Its just a con to make more money

I was in a pub last night watching a mates band and there was a young couple (around 20) who knocked them back like there was going to be no more.
During the evening we slowly watched them getting more drunk and she started shouting at the band "Play Englands coming home" and when she stood up she fell over.
Not only was she drinking from pint glasses (I saw her drink 7 and she was there way before me to watch the match) but they kept going to the bar for 2 shots each at a time.
At midnight when the band finished they were both spread out on their seats asleep.
I just can't work out what's going on with people + booze sometimes.
