I did have a choice last year new car or some crazy camera gear, I purchased lots of camera gear and now I get to shoot semi naked women and get paid to do it. Think I made the right choice :D
 
I just took at look at Willis's pics on Flickr - some outstanding stuff there !

Some of you lot are really talented, makes me feel a total muppet with my attempts, but I'm having fun while trying.
 
A lot of talk of TW_FOX in this thread. I just wanted to add my opinion on the matter. Frankly, he is the reason OCUK Motors forum sucks and in fact the forum as a whole suffers in allowing him to continue posting.

I see your holiday car and 5d2 and raise you buying a house! Thats on my agenda although a 300mm f2.8 is tempting :D

I cant even buy an SLR at the minute due to moving ruddy house shortly....
Well its not the body that would be the problem but the glass to stick on it.

I'll be having to live with my Fuji S200EXR for at least another 6 months before a 'spec me' thread is started but its no biggy really as I still feel there's a lot I haven't got out of yet.

The lure for something shiny is always there though...:(

Guy had never posted in motors before, didnt have the slightest clue on what to do. I'd like to think that thread thoroughly helped him out.

We do more often than not, given sensible good advice.

So that's the trick with Motors? Open every thread with the death of a family member?

(In jest, before anyone becomes unnecessarily enraged by something written on the Internet - Longhand for 'doing a Motors' :p)
