So, why do you spend so much time at OCUK forums?

mate showed me the main OcUK site, and then one day I noticed the forum link in the top hand corner, should never have clicked on it :D.........
 
I joined the forums due to building my second computer when I was a little younger - Hung around for a while asking for advice in the hardware forums - mingling in the gaming section etc. :p

Now, as you said, I'd probably call this my "Internet Home", I like the discussions and being able to geek out online is healthy, otherwise I'd geek out in real life to people that don't know or care about that sort of stuff :p
 
Most of the time I like the attitudes expressed in threads on here. Tend to be here quite a bit at times as I normally have it open in a browser whilst I'm working on things at work so I can have a look whilst waiting for things to run ...
 
because my wife watches **** on the tv and i dont get a look in !

Over the years I've got a lot of entertainment from the forums and there are some funny people hanging around (whatever sense of funny you choose to interpret that as), there are also some very smart people who post here for whatever reason and I find it's almost always worth paying attention to those smarter than me whether I agree with them or not as I might learn something. Plus there's usually something going on to divert my attention when I don't have work or anything else to do.
 
Well I've only just arrived here and I wouldn't say OCUK is my home on the internet, another forum holds that title, but it seems nice enough. I guess this can be my internet holiday home.
