Well where do i start:

I have sold my old Antec 1200 which i regret now and i have bought a :

Coolermaster cosmos RC 100: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-144-CM&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=29

Which had terrible cable management and the side panels wouldn't close properly this has since been sent back to a Sheffield retailer for a refund.

I then bought a Antec P183:http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-114-AN&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=160

which looked great from reviews but i never knew how small it was and also the case is vibrating unless i put something heavy on top of the case.

Also my Temps are terrible in the P183 for both CPU and GPU due to the lack of airflow (Fans) in case, this has been approved for RMA this morning.

Should never have sold my Antec 1200

So guys i need a new case again which needs to be or close to:

pretty good airflow

Quiet or pretty quiet

Spacious

Be most grateful if the ocuk community can help me out i dont want to send a 3rd case back.

Budget £150-170

+1 for chipps101 suggestion.

Thats what i was going to post.

Or, possibly ;

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-066-SV&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=

Something slightly different with the mobo positioning.

I like the look of both cases a lot

The Silverstone Fortress FTO2 looks very good especially as it has 3 fans at the bottom which would be directly underneath my GTX 480 Oven;)

My only concern is there appears to be "N0" rear far so im not sure how i would fit my Corsair H50 CPU cooler?

The Coolemaster ATCS 840 also looks very good with lots of fans which is what i definitely need for my components.

My only concern is the inside of the case looks very simliar to the coolermaster CS 1000 i sent back, that suffered from HDD vibration humming even though advertised as silent ,and the panels were awful for closing when you have cables in the machine. I dont want to make that mistake again and coolermaster are now a little suspect with me now.

Ah decisions guess im very fussy thats my problem

Thank you all so far for you comments.

Edit:Here is the silvestone ( http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/9931/81849977.png) using the H50 cooler and with 2 5970 looks pretty good and ppl say the temps are excellent with this case im leaning towards this case at the moment.

My only concern is i want to keep the top exhaust fan as its the only one in the case how can i keep this fan mounted and still install the H50 as shown in the pics?

you could mount the h50 in a push pull setup exhausting the air

i tried this before in other cases and i can never work out how to do it.

I mount the rad inside the case and fix the fan on the front of the rad and then fix the rad to back of case (Standard)

I have tried to setup a push pull setup with the H50 before and again mount the rad inside the case with the fan on the front.

Then i put another fan on the back of the rad only problem is i never have enough fixings screw (long enough) to fix the rad to the rear of the case.

Here is what someone has written on another forum does this mean the case is supplied with accessories fixings to setup and fix a push pull setup:

Actually, the FT02 comes with 2 radiator brackets, which allow you to either mount 120mm/rad/120mm or rad/120mm (top) onto the 180mm fan.
You could also replace the back 180mm with a 140mm to 120mm duct and put a DEMCi magnetic filter under the case.

This Lian Li also worth a look http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-171-LL&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=187.
The ft02 is awesome too I'd get one if I had the money for sure, silverstone build quality is top draw own a fortress ft01 myself.
Might want to look at the Haf X not out yet but soon looks good if you don't mind the styling I like how the right side panel has a protuded style to allow easy cable routing with much more room.
Surprised about the p183 not heard many complaints of vibrations only ever heard great things about that case.

Does the Lian Li PC-A70FB cool well i have my doubts as it has no top exhaust fans. (im currently reading reviews on this)

The new coolermaster case looks great and has superb cooling from reviews.

Only problem is the due date is a long way away

Edit:The Lian Li PC-A70FB Cooling dosent seem that bad from what ive read but nowhere near as good as the Silverstone ft02 from reviews anyway.

The Lian Li PC-A70FB seems very loud from reviews again.

Currently running an i7 920 at 4ghz and dual gtx 275's in an A70FB, airflow in it is very good, though ive changed the stock 1000 rpm fans to a pair of 1500 rpm yate loons, only because i dont like led fans, run the yates of a zalman fan controller. Very roomy case for dual video cards.

EDIT: Lian Li do produce a replacement top panel that can take two 120mm fans or a dual radiator.

Hi thanks for taking the time to post your experiences with the Lian LI and look up that info for me.

If i did buy a replacement top panel the case would then be costing me £180+ im guessing ,and seems a lot of hassle waiting on the top panel to arrive directly from Lian Li

One added bonus though is ocuk do sell a load of accessories for Lian Li cases

Alternatively, you could get a company to cut the top panel for you, cant link to the company that does it though.

Hi yes the Silverstone FTO2 is certainly looking like my next case at the moment i just hope i can work out how to fit a H50 onto the top exhaust fan as ive never been able to fit a push pull fan on my H50 and fix it to a case.

The Hax X looks good but im not sure if i can wait that long and stay on my Laptop in the mean time while all my high end hardware is sitting upstairs doing nothing;)

I know im asking members loads of questions and saying this and that i just need to make sure i get this case right for what i need.

I cant be assed on sending a 3rd case back in less than a week;)

The P183 imo would ok for a system that has a small video card, cooler etc and its certainly no good for the enthusiast who likes changing components like myself as its so small inside and fiddly.

Build quality is very good just far too small especially when you have a oven video card like myself i had awful temps on both my CPU and GPU and the humming sound was annoying had to place my heavy blackberry mobile on the top of case to stop this.

Ive lost £20.50 as that what is has cost to send it back to the Etailer in Sheffield still my own fault for not researching the case enough

Hi yes that is a option but i think that is too much hassle for me personally.

i need to read more reviews on the A70FB as ive only read 1 so far dosent seem to be that many out there?

Wait now that ive said that a whole load will be posted lol

Theres a lot of pics of mine in this thread here mate.

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18106299&highlight=Lian+A70FB+username_setter

Not the most upto date though, as ive changed it about a bit.

How is the noise with this case are the fans very noisy?

Is there a lot HDD humming Vibrations ?

From looking at your pics looks a very nice case loads of room, emm more decisions just as i though i had nearly choose a new case.

will take a few days i reckon to choose by the looks of it.

Psu is doing a great job mate, as for noise, the stock fans are prety quiet, but ive replaced the front ones as they were led, theres no vibration from the hdd's at all as theyre all installed with rubber grommets.

Pic of hdd mounting
a70f-14.jpg

The rubber ring is placed on the screw before securing it to the drive, then the small groove on the ring slides into the hdd mounting bay.

Settler you have thrown a spanner in the works now lol

I like the look of this case a lot and if airflow is good and its pretty quiet and it look very spacious then this could be the case for me.

So it looks like either the :

Lian Li A70FB

Silverstone Fortress FT02B Gaming Case

Not a lot of ppl have the silverstone so 9/10 ppl would probably say get the Lian Li, i will mull over it over the weekend and read lots more reviews on the 2 cases

Would still like ppl to post any other cases they would recommend as im still open to any other cases
