Whats that got to do with his post? Prologue demonstrates roughly how the graphics will be on the finished product and even Prologue is miles ahead of the PS2, even with the horrific screen tearing. A few people have been a bit anti GT5 without even having the chance to play it yet, based on a couple of screens that don't look totally jaw dropping, compared to the many screens and videos that we've seen that look out of this world.

Exactly. Polyphony are renowned for their attention to detail and Yamauchi has obsessed over this for years, he isn't going to let it out if he isn't 100% satisfied with it.

It's happened before on quite a few games. IIRC, Killzone 2 put old images up with some less than impressive textures.

What do you expect regards the anti comments as its GT.
People criticise it for evey little thing and even GT Planet is full of cries of pain and moaning over this standard cars factor and if cockpit mode is in or out for those cars. I would imagine that within the 200 or so premium cars their will be many favourites available and every Ferrari in the game will be a premium car, you can bet on that. Im confident the premium models will spoil us even for photomode fans. We also still havnt seen the complete full damage modelling yet which is likely to be the best on any console game.

As I mentioned elsewhere if GT5 had 1000 cars all modelled in such detail it would be the best value game ever with that amount of content. Sony PD should take a look at FM3 and offer additional DLC Premium carpacks even replacing some of these 800 standard cars and I bet they could make a fortune from doing so.

Who knows but if people can live with such standard car models and 2D trees. I guess the game will have its amazing side to graphics and its downsides in areas as well.

Dont be sick just rewatch this video a few times and then have a look at FM3 again. With 200 cars looking so good and day/night added its quite easy to stay positive and instead of people moaning appreciate how amazing the game is going to look.

Who are these people?

If the game gets criticism, maybe it's justified and not from imaginary forza fanboys.

Bringing Forza into this thread for no reason will just cause friction for fans of both games.
