Games to CO-OP

Well I'm looking for good games to co-op with my friend. He has a decent-ish laptop which can run most games I think the most hardcore game i've seen him run is L4D2 which he can run maxed out. supposidly it can run MW2 maxed out too it has a 9600m and a dual core processor.

Long story short we want decent games to play co-op over a LAN connection. We have completed Borderlands including the expansions I was hoping some of you guys and girls could give a few lists of decent games to co-op. We pretty much just want FPS but I might be able to persuade him to play some RPG.

Edit: Ignore, I missed the PC specs

If you have access to the internet as well as the LAN I suggest giving battlefield 2 a go with your own little squad. Great times will be had by all and it will run well on the laptop.

call of duty world at war has a co op mode, as well as a left 4 dead style zombie game.

Transformers War For Cybertron don't laugh but this game actually looks decent developed specifically for co-op and multiplayer out on pc next thursday.
I am thinking of getting it myself.
 
Rainbow Six Vegas 1/2 Terrorist Hunt especially :p - awesome
Swat 3 - old classic but still good

Otherwise most other LAN games are pretty much all strategy.
